Causes And Treatments Of Headache And Red Eyes And Dizziness

When talking about headache and red eyes and dizziness we are actually referring to an extreme condition of head pain.

Such a pain is generally felt above the eyes or the ears, behind the head or at the backside of the neck. Severe headache conditions can be grouped under two main headlines – primary headache and secondary headache.

Primary headaches are not associated with any sort of diseases and these include:

  • Migraine headaches
  • Tension headaches
  • Cluster headaches

On the other hand, secondary headaches are generally caused by other insignificant or significant diseased conditions.

What usually happens in cases of headache and red eyes and dizziness? The victim experiences a condition of headache with giddiness and quivering resulting in abrupt clouding collapse, red face and red eyes. This generally happens due to the internal liver movement giving formation to wind strokes. An upward movement of the wind affects both face and head giving rise to this type of symptoms.

Some of the common reasons of head pain include:

  • One of the essential side effects of calcium channel blockers
  • Headaches due to gastrointestinal distress
  • Swelling of ankles and depression
  • Low blood pressure and a major change in the pulse rate

Headache, dizziness and red eyes occur due to the unfavorable expansion of blood vessels. In most cases, the severity or the extremity of sudden illness causes excessive pain in the head accompanied by several other abnormal physiological conditions.

The medicines for the various effective treatments of headache, red eyes and dizziness include:

  • Verapamil
  • Prednisone
  • Ergotamine tartrate
  • Lithium carbonate
  • Divalproex sodium
  • Histamine acid phosphate

However, it should always be remembered that most medications are accompanied by multiple side effects. Therefore, it is obviously wise for you to consult your physician before consuming any specific medicine for headache and red eyes and dizziness.

Some of the medications meant for the said purpose are also available in form of various formulations like nasal sprays and injections.

These medications include:

  • Oxygen
  • Dihydroergotamine
  • Sumatriptan
  • Lidocaine

In short, the variable incidents of headache and red eyes and dizziness may be either severe or trivial. However, the right sort of medication at the right time can bring about an improvement in the effected condition.
