I wondered that u said it a wrong diagnosis of epilepsy. Though there is no link between headache and epilepsy but headache is caused due to some neurological disorder and specially migraine. The medicines used for cure of epilepsy are used for the cure of migraine as well.
Depressants do work but these are slow acting and u may have to be consistent in taking them for minimum 6 months to see the effects.
