How To Combat
Blood Clotting and Migraine

Blood clotting and migraine are two related inner body physiological consequences.

Blood clots gives way to migraine headaches. Researchers say that migraine headaches occur due to sudden changes in the blood flow of the brain.

It is said that people who suffer from migraines have blood vessels easily overreacting to various triggers.

In fact, an occasional disruption in the flow of blood is the prime cause of blood clots and migraine.

According to a particular theory, your nervous system always has the tendency to respond to several triggers.

These triggers may include, stress, several emotional factors, biological and environmental conditions, fatigue, glaring or flickering lights, weather and certain food items.

As a result of this, a spasm is created in the nerve-rich arteries at the bottom of the brain. Due to the formation of this spasm, numerous arteries delivering blood to the brain are either closed or constricted.

These arteries may include the scalp artery and the carotid or neck arteries.

Due to the tightening and narrowing of the arteries, the blood flow in the brain is diminished.

Along with this, blood clotting particles known as platelets tuft together and in the process a chemical serotonin is released which plays the role of a dominant artery constrictor.

This further reduces essential supply of blood to the brain giving form to blood clotting and migraine.

Due to the sudden diminution in blood flow the supply of oxygen to the brain is hindered. This definitely gives an access to headache along with unclear vision or indistinct speech.

Treatment of blood clotting and migraine
For a detailed analysis of the condition there has to be a proper interaction between you and your doctor.

The process of communication should include a comprehensive headache diary and proper identification of certain migraine triggers.

Most migraine sufferers are prone to pop medicines because the pain caused by migraine is undoubtedly unbearable.

Over-the-counter medicines in most cases are able to restrict pain, but there is always a chance of “analgesic rebound headache”.

Therefore, it is essential for you to keep in mind that medicines alone cannot solve problems of blood clotting and migraine. The medication procedure requires a persistent support of a healthy life style.
